Le Groupe Sécurité, composé d’un·e chef·fe de groupe et de 2 ingénieur·e·s, veille à la sécurité des quelques 500 membres du personnel de l’ILL, de ses 1 500 utilisateurs annuels et de ses prestataires. Rattaché·e à la Cheffe du Service Radioprotection Sécurité Environnement, vos missions consisteront à :

• assurer la prévention et le contrôle dans le domaine de la sécurité :

- proposer les mesures et consignes générales d’hygiène et de sécurité,
- assurer la production des documents associés (autorisation de travail, fiches de nuisances et d’exposition, analyse de poste de travail, plan de prévention, analyse d’accident, document unique, …) tant en interne que lors d’intervention de prestataires extérieures,
- veiller à l’application des consignes via des audits et visites,
- informer la direction de l’application des dispositions légales et réglementaires, y compris la veille normative et réglementaire.

• définir les besoins et mener les actions d’information, de sensibilisation et de formation,

• réaliser les études de sécurité liées aux chantiers, nouveaux instruments et expériences,

• être la liaison avec la Commission Santé, Sécurité et Conditions de Travail (CSSCT) (statistiques, bilan annuel d’hygiène et sécurité) et participer aux liaisons avec les organismes extérieurs (Inspection du Tra-vail, organismes de contrôle, …),

• participer à l’organisation de l’intervention des secours en cas d’accident, à la préparation, à l’exécution et à l’analyse des exercices de sécurité,

• gérer les déchets et matières dangereuses non radioactifs (transports, récupération, élimination, bilans),

• assurer le suivi des contrôles réglementaires (appareils électriques, appareils de levage, équipements sous pression, etc…),

• évaluer les besoins, définir ou mettre à jour les processus, planifier, coordonner en concertation avec les autres membres de l’équipe,

• gérer les équipements contenant des fluides frigorigènes et des gaz à effet de serre fluorés en tant que pilote de processus.

• assurer le management de l’équipe :

- encadrer, animer et assurer l’organisation du travail, les entretiens annuels, le plan de développement des compétences, ...
- assurer le recrutement et le suivi des compétences des membres de l’équipe,
- veiller à la santé et la sécurité des personnes en faisant respecter les procédures sanitaires, sécuritaires et environnement.

Votre profil

• BAC+5 QHSE (Qualité Hygiène, Sécurité, Environnement) ou équivalent,

• une expérience d’au moins 5 ans dans un poste similaire,

• excellentes capacités rédactionnelles en Français,

• la connaissance des installations nucléaires et/ou de radioactivité serait un atout,

• certification Conseiller à la Sécurité des Matières Dangereuses (cat. 2 à 9 sauf 7) est un plus,

• capacité à être autonome, rigoureux·se et organisé·e,

• esprit d’équipe indispensable,

• bonne maîtrise de l’anglais à l’oral comme à l’écrit.

INSTALLER OF NATURAL STONE COUNTERTOPS IN NORWAY
(Sandefjord, Norway)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
EURES – Agenzia Piemonte lavoro is looking for INSTALLER OF NATURAL STONE COUNTERTOPS in private homes and on larger projects across the Eastern part of Norway. The major industry, specialized in production and installation of countertops in natural stone, quartz composite and sintered stone, is now looking for production workers and installers that will work in a modern production facility set up in 2015, with highly automated machines and an efficient production line.

SKILLS:
• Previous experience from similar type of work within the natural stone industry, in either Norway or other countries in Europe.
• The work language in production is English, and good English speaking skills is a requirement.
• Millimeter precision and a high degree of attention to details.
• To be able to work with manual finish on countertops and other products, including polishing, instalment of sinks, finalization of more complex products (e.g. furniture), incl. 45° joints.
• For installers, work is performed in pairs. Work involves travelling quite far distances, and installers normally install countertops in two or three locations each day.
• Provided training about our routines and way of work, both in theory and in practice.

PLACE OF WORK: Sandefjord, Norway

WORK CONDITIONS:
• Permanent condition, starting after agreemnt.
• Full time, 8 hours per day, five days per week. We operate on two shifts (morning and evening). Alternatively, we might offer work on a rotation with 2 weeks of work an 1 week off, with 60 hours of work on work weeks.
• Salary: 19 – 23 eur/per hour, depending on experience.

Core mission
You will join one of the six shift teams in the ILL's Operations Service responsible for reactor operations (each team comprises a shift leader and four operations technicians). As one of the team’s operations technicians, you will work under the supervision of the team leader (shift leader).

Your tasks
• Monitor the state of the installations and systems and their compliance with operational limits and conditions (technical specifications for operation)
• Diagnose any faults and identify the corrective action to be taken
• Ensure the safe shutdown of the reactor installations to allow for maintenance operations
• Prepare and conduct periodic inspections as well as tests prior to reactor start-up
• Prepare and maintain operational documentation (procedures, instructions, etc.)
• Design and carry out modifications to improve operating conditions
• You will be required to work round-the-clock shifts on a rota basis (2 x 12h).

Your profile
• Level 4/5 qualification (BTEC HNC/HND or equivalent) in a relevant field such as industrial engineering and maintenance, mechanical and thermal engineering or mechanical and production engineering, with at least two to three years’ experience in an industrial setting.
• Practical experience of operations in a high-risk industrial environment would be an advantage.
• You are a well-organised self-starter with good writing skills.
• You are able to work both alone and in a team, have a strong service-oriented attitude, and are able to take initiative while complying with regulatory requirements.
• A diplomatic and flexible attitude and the ability to work collaboratively would also be assets for this position.
• You have a meticulous approach to your work, possess sound judgement and are able to work under stress.
• This post requires the ability to speak French. As the ILL is an international facility, you must also be able to communicate in English. Knowledge of German would be an advantage.

Main tasks: 

• Planning, design and implementation of automated GUI and interface tests as well as load and performance tests of complex microservice application structures. 

• To select suitable test methods and tools along the agile development process.

SKILLS:

Group’s mission

The LSS group comprises a range of instruments designed to carry out studies on the structure of matter on a scale of fractions of to hundreds of nanometers. These include instruments for small-angle scattering, reflectometry, diffraction from single crystals or one or two-dimensionally ordered materials. The range of science covered is very broad, from polymer and colloid science through structural molecular biology to materials science and magnetic phenomena. The group has recently started a new public neutron imaging beam-line, Next/MoTo. An ambitious upgrade project is now in the execution phase that will provide a panoply of imaging techniques from polarised neutrons to simultaneous x-ray/neutron imaging. Also due to the uniquely high neutron flux and with an additional side-station offering a monochromatic beam, this new instrument will be in a world-leading position when it will be fully operational by 2023.

You will participate in an international project joining a team including an ILL/UGA Chair, a CNRS scientist, senior scientists from HZB and ILL, as well as a broad team of neutron, tomography and data processing experts from several institutions. ILL is looking for an outstanding person to add to this team, with a strong imaging and/or neutron background.

Your tasks

Working within the LSS Group in the field of Neutron Imaging in addition to carrying out your own active research programme, you will be in charge of:

Co-developing a new imaging instrument as well acting as local contact for the ongoing tomography instrument.

Managing the instrument, participating both in the day-to-day running and its technical development.

Providing support to users for scientific experiments and helping them collect data under optimum conditions.

Promoting scientific partnerships in your field of research.

Participating in the longer term development of sample environment and data analysis.

Work within the neutron imaging team (Instrument Scientist, Scientific Associates, Engineers, Software Developers) and with scientists and other ILL staff members to develop a strong scientific program using neutron imaging.

Your profile

Ph.D. in Physics, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or similar background will be considered.

You are competent in neutron and/or x-ray imaging and are interested in image processing/coding and have a propensity for experimentation, including in operando testing in the domain of material sciences.

You have strong written and oral communication skills and the desire to work in a team environment on scientifically challenging problems.

You have experience in neutron or x-ray technique development.

The post represents an excellent opportunity for young postdoctoral scientists to develop expertise, broaden experience and interact with leading scientists from around the world. Applications from more experienced scientists able to obtain a secondment period from their home institution will also be considered.
