PAID APPRENTICESHIP AS HEAVY EQUIPMENT MACHINERY MECHANIC

EURES Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro is looking for candidates for an international apprenticeship programme in Denmark, designed as an entry-level vocational education for those who want to become Heavy Equipment Machinery Mechanics from the ground up.

You will combine education with paid work, gain hands-on technical experience and build a solid foundation for a long-term career within industry, construction and technology.

The Heavy Equipment Machinery Mechanic education is a 4-year vocational programme, officially recognised within the Danish education system and aligned with EU standards.

The programme is structured to combine a basic course focused on systems, service and fault detection with a main course that alternates between periods at vocational school and practical training as an apprentice in a Danish company, pre-selected before your arrival. Overall, it leads to a fully recognised Danish vocational qualification and prepares you for skilled technical roles in modern industry.

During the programme, you will work with large, advanced machines and gain strong, job-relevant technical skills. As a Heavy Equipment Machinery Mechanic, you will work with large and advanced machines used across key sectors such as construction, agriculture, transport, as well as industrial and green technology industries. This role allows you to develop a deep understanding of complex machinery and their applications in real working environments.

You will learn to:

• Service, repair and maintain heavy machinery
• Troubleshoot faults using diagnostic tools
• Work with engines, hydraulics and electrical systems
• Ensure machines are safe, efficient and ready for operation
• Understand machinery systems from the inside out
• Apply technical knowledge in real working environments

The education prepares you directly for work in modern European industry. No prior professional experience is required — what matters most is your motivation and interest.

SKILLS:

  • Have completed compulsory schooling (lower secondary education)
  • Have the legal right to work in Denmark at the start of employment without the need for a work permit
  • Have sufficient English skills to follow the teaching
  • Are interested in engines, machinery and technology
  • Are motivated, reliable and ready for a practical educatio
  • WORK CONDITIONS:
  • A paid apprenticeship contract, salary range 2.600 – 2.750 eur per month
  • Full time position, starting day 01 august 2026
