• preparing and managing contracts and agreements on scientific cooperation, co-funding, consortia, patents, licenses and non-disclosure,
• running or assisting in specific projects, such as the establishment of the Institute's policy on the delegation of responsibilities, the monitoring of GDPR compliance, or the creation of the new controlled access zone,
• providing support and advice on legal or administrative issues,
• providing technical expertise in the field of labour legislation, for the establishment of the Social and economic council or with respect to areas of the ILL's Collective Agreement in particular.

Qualifications and experience:
We are looking for someone with five years of university study (Master's level in company or commercial law, or equivalent) and initial experience as a company lawyer.
Knowledge of labour legislation or general criminal law would be an advantage.
You must be a good team-worker. The post requires a sense of service and relational skills, together with an attention to detail and an organised approach to the duties in hand.
 
Language skills:
As an international research centre we are particularly keen to ensure that we attract applicants from outside France. You must have a sound knowledge of English and be willing to learn French (a language course will be paid for by the ILL). Knowledge of German would be an advantage.
